North of the White Depths lies the continent of Hibernia. It is a land of extremities and historical significance, and its southern region is home to Askaheimr, the northernmost kingdom of humans. In the north, the lands of Eredore are home to fearsome giants and peaceful goliaths. A splinter group of the drow lives in their crystalline city near the barren slopes of the Adamantine Sierras. Cold and wind, rain and snow are constant companions to anyone who travels here, and while the Aska people may seem standoffish at first, their frosty demeanour thaws as quickly as rime on a sunny spring day.

South of the Misty Woods and the land of the elves are the Arbiter Cliffs, an area with a sinister history. Long before the Velendrian Empire assimilated these lands, warring petty monarchs ruled between the Glistening River, the Windless Rise and the Brandywood. One of these monarchs, Brath III, loved listening to the screams of his enemies, so the high Arbiter Cliffs were the perfect location for public executions. The relatively smooth precipice meant no annoying rocks to prematurely break the fall of the condemned.
